Body armor is an essential piece of equipment for law enforcement and military personnel, providing protection against ballistic threats. However, there is a lesser-known danger associated with wearing body armor: Behind Armor Blunt Trauma (BABT). BABT refers to the injury that occurs when an individual is wearing body armor, and a projectile strikes the armor with enough force to cause blunt trauma to the body behind the armor. The impact of the projectile can cause the armor to deform, resulting in a transfer of energy to the body behind the armor. This transfer of energy can cause a range of injuries, from bruises and contusions to internal organ damage and broken bones. In some cases, BABT can be fatal. To combat the issue of BABT, researchers and manufacturers are developing new technologies and materials to create body armor that provides better protection against blunt trauma. One solution is to incorporate additional layers of material in the armor to absorb and dissipate the energy from the impact. This can help reduce the transfer of energy to the body behind the armor, minimizing the risk of injury.
To fight these problems related to the BABT we have developed two solutions, the RX-01 and RX-02 (Discover these products by clicking on the following link : https://rxrprotect.com/content/67-rxrmilitary) that will drastically reduce the damage caused by this phenomenon, you can see the difference in impact on our tests with the following ima [...]
