Do we now have enough hindsight to say that an airbag consistently provides a benefit in this type of race?<\/p>\n\n

Third question: Who is responsible?<\/h2>\n\n
An official recommendation inevitably influences behavior.<\/p>\n\n
When a federation or organizer states that a piece of equipment is \u201cstrongly recommended,\u201d many drivers naturally view this as a guarantee of safety.<\/p>\n\n
But if, tomorrow, a pilot is seriously injured while using precisely this recommended equipment, who will bear the moral\u2014or even legal\u2014responsibility for this influence?<\/p>\n\n
Because making a recommendation isn’t the same as imposing something. But that doesn’t mean it’s neutral. <\/p>\n\n
The Danger of Half-Truths<\/h2>\n\n

A rider crashes in the first turn. His airbag deploys. <\/p>\n\n
